TradaBase has things called Documents. A Document is something that used to be a piece of paper that you would post or fax to Customers, Suppliers and the like, such as Delivery Advices, Order Confirmations and Invoices.
In TradaBase all Documents can be swiftly and easily emailed as PDF files, which can be opened, read and printed by virtually everyone these days.
But it can be a pain having to type in email addresses every time, and quite often you'll want to send a Document to several people, perhaps even someone in your own business. TradaBase makes this easy; it contains a self-learning feature. The first time you send a particular Document to a particular Customer or Supplier it will offer to remember the list of email addresses you've typed in. If you say Yes then no more typing!
So, you ordered 100, were told 100 had arrived, and now you've allocated 100 to Sales Orders, only the warehouse now tells you they miscounted and there are only 95.
In TradaBase you have an 'Change Accepted Quantity' feature. Simply find the Lot in question, record a corrected Quantity of 95, and the system will tell you which Sales Order(s) are affected. It'll even adjust the allocations on those orders so that they are reset and clearly left needing some more stock.
There are also features to correct the Supplier of a Consignment, no matter how far progressed the Consignment is.
Because these things happen in real life don't they?
